A lecture performance structured against Bach’s Violin Concerto in E major in Mustapha Abu Ali’s 1974 film ‘They Do Not Exist’.  The talk ponders the cinematic representation of a Palestinian revolution through the act of rendering it in neighboring landscapes. Live scenes shot in Jordan by Jean-Luc Godard, Masao Adachi, and Abdallah Kawash are borrowed and interplayed culminating in silence.
